Updating Your Name Servers

If you own your domain name then you need to point your domain name to our name servers. Contact your current domain registrar or former website hosting company to change the name servers to the following Name server addresses. These need to be in this order:

  1. server.fvisions.com
  2. ns2.fvisions.com
  3. ns3.fvisions.com

 

IMPORTANT:
If you currently have email services for this domain name with a another email host AND your planning on keeping email hosted with them, then please follow the instructions below instead. If you follow the instructions above, its highly possible your email willl stop working. Also, if you are choosing this option, you MUST notify us of this choice as there are additional steps needed on our part to complete this configuration.

Creating an A record

If your Domain name has Email accounts hosted with third Party Provider: If you have email services with a third party provider, and you do not plan on switching your email hosting to Financial Visions/Smarsh then instead of changing your name servers what you need to do is have your current domain name registrar or email host create an "A" record to point your domain name to the following IP Address: 204.212.189.43
